The Willow Lions routed the visiting McDonogh 35 Roneagles softball squad by a final score of 21-11 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Swamp Owls go into the 4A District 9 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy notched a victory over Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA), 21-0, in a league battle.
The Roneagles now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary's Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 7.
