The Liberty Hill Panthers baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host Austin Maroons to 6 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host McCallum for a non-league test on Friday, March 7. Liberty Hill will play a Knights team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Rudder (Bryan, TX). The Knights record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Austin drops to 2-8 on the year. The Maroons travel to Stratford (Houston, TX) to play the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 8-5. Stratford won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Hutto (Hutto, TX)
