The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, TX) and the visiting Bell Blue Raiders (Hurst, TX), saw Mansfield's baseball team get by Bell by a tally of 2-1.
The Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Royals enter the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Richland held off Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX), 8-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Blue Raiders face the Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 7. Bell will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Kangaroos enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 4-3 non-league win over South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX).
