The Wildcats now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Cabarrus for a Greater Metro 4A challenge on Friday, March 7. Lake Norman will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Butler drops to 1-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Garinger (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a Southwestern 4A challenge on Friday, March 7. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
