In Thursday's non-league game, the host Navasota Rattlers baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans.
The Rattlers (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Corrigan-Camden was tipped by Lovelady (Lovelady, TX), 6-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Trojans play the Gateway College Preparatory Gators (Georgetown, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 7. Coldspring-Oakhurst will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Gators go into the game with a 4-2 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX).
