Texas High School Baseball - Midway holds off College Park

The Midway Panthers baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host College Park Cavaliers to 3 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lone Star for a non-league test on Friday, March 7. Midway will play a Rangers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Guyer (Denton, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, College Park drops to 5-3 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Westlake (Austin, TX) to play the Chaparrals in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Chaparrals go into the test with a record of 7-0. Westlake won 11-4 in their recent non-league test against Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX)
