The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Columbia Eagles (Decatur, GA) and the visiting Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA), saw Columbia's baseball team gain a win over Stone Mountain by a tally of 8-3.

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Towers (Decatur, GA). The Titans enter the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Towers held off Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA), 19-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Pirates face the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) in a 3A Area 5 battle, on Wednesday, March 12. Stone Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Vidalia Heritage Academy (Vidalia, GA).
