The Spartans now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Dekaney for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 7. Cypress Lakes will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 14-5 non-league win over Alief Hastings (Houston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-6.

With the defeat, North Crowley drops to 6-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX) to clash with the Rangers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 6. The Rangers go into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Fort Bend Clements lost 18-2 in their recent non-league challenge against George Ranch (Richmond, TX)
