In Thursday's non-league game, the host Eldorado Golden Eagles baseball team scored a close 8-1 win over the Los Alamos Hilltoppers.
The Golden Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors go into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Sandia nudged Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM), 13-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Hilltoppers play the Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 7. Los Alamos will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 2-3 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
