The New Hanover Wildcats baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Terry Sanford Bulldogs to 4 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, March 11. New Hanover will play a Scorpions team coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Scorpions record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Terry Sanford drops to 2-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Golden Bulls in a All American 3A/4A test on Friday, March 7. The Golden Bulls go into the test with a record of 0-1. E.E. Smith lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC)
