In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting South Iredell Vikings baseball team scored a nice 15-3 win over the North Surry Greyhounds.
The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls go into the Greater Metro 4A game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Hickory Ridge knocked off South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 10-0, in a league game.
Next, the Greyhounds play the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 7. North Surry will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 3-1 record after their 8-7 non-league win over West Davidson (Lexington, NC).
