Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Live Oak improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Acorns host Overfelt (San Jose, CA) to face the Royals in a test on Tuesday, March 11. The Royals go into the test with a record of 0-1. Overfelt lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA)

The Cougars now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westmont for a test on Friday, March 7. Christopher will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
