The Sun Valley Spartans volleyball squad (Monroe, NC), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC)
With the win, Marvin Ridge improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mavericks host Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Wolves in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 0-2.
The Spartans now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covenant Day for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 11. Sun Valley will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Winston Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.
