The Johnson Central Golden Eagles bounced the visiting Prestonsburg Blackcats basketball team by a margin of 62-36 in Thursday's non-league contest.

The Golden Eagles (26-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lawrence County (Louisa, KY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 13-12 record. In their last contest, Lawrence County smashed Pikeville (Pikeville, KY), 65-40, in a non-league contest.
