Florida High School Flag Football - Central smashes Mainland

March 6, 2025: Fort Pierce, FL 34981

The Central Cobras (Fort Pierce, FL) flag football trounced the visiting Mainland Buccaneers (Daytona Beach, FL), 32-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Cobras now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host John Carroll Catholic for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 11. Central will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 18-6 league win over West Shore (Melbourne, FL). The Rams record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Mainland drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Matanzas (Palm Coast, FL) to clash with the Pirates in a outing on Tuesday, March 11. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 3-3. Matanzas won 9-7 in their recent non-league outing against Florida School for the Deaf & Blind (St. Augustine, FL)
