Florida High School Flag Football - Cooper City thwarted by Cypress Bay

Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Cooper City Cowboys (Cooper City, FL), 12-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Cypress Bay improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Lightning travel to South Broward (Hollywood, FL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, March 10. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 1-3. South Broward lost 19-0 in their recent league battle against Everglades (Miramar, FL)
The Cowboys now have a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Chaminade-Madonna for a 1A D12 battle on Monday, March 10. Cooper City will play a Lions team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over South Broward (Hollywood, FL). The Lions record now stands at 4-0.
