California High School Baseball - Elko edges South Tahoe

The Elko Indians (Elko, NV) baseball the host South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 9-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Truckee for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 7. Elko will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 18-12 non-league win over Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, South Tahoe drops to 0-3 on the year. The Vikings host Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV) to battle the Spartans in a non-league outing on Friday, March 7. The Spartans come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Spring Creek lost 18-12 in their recent non-league outing against Truckee (Truckee, CA)
