North Carolina High School Baseball - South View holds off Western Harnett

The South View Tigers baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Western Harnett Eagles to 10 in the Tigers non-league win on Thursday.

The Tigers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southern Lee for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. South View will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Western Harnett drops to 0-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Harnett Central (Angier, NC) to play the Trojans in a test on Friday, March 7. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 1-1. Harnett Central won 8-0 in their recent league test against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC)
