Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Western Albemarle moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Cavaliers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Staunton River for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18.
