Utah High School Lacrosse - Payson overwhelms American Fork

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Payson Lions lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-6 triumph over the American Fork Cavemen.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Mustangs go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Herriman held off Syracuse (Syracuse, UT), 17-7, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cavemen clash with the Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 11. American Fork will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Aviators go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 14-12 non-league win over Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT).
