Cooper City Cowboys (Cooper City, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Taravella Trojans (Coral Springs, FL), 16-6 in a league battle.

The Trojans now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pompano Beach for a Independent battle on Monday, March 10. Taravella will encounter a Golden Tornadoes team coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to Olympic Heights (Boca Raton, FL). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 0-6.
