The Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY) lacrosse routed the host Eastern Eagles (Louisville, KY), 11-4 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Woodford County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 11. Sayre will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 28-1 league win over Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Eastern falls to 0-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Tates Creek (Lexington, KY) to face the Commodores in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 11. The Commodores go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Tates Creek lost 16-7 in their recent non-league outing against Ryle (Union, KY)
