The New Manchester Jaguar edged the visiting Temple Tigers soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Jaguar face the Villa Rica Wildcats (Villa Rica, GA) in a 6A Area 5 game, on Tuesday, March 11. New Manchester will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 6-2 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA).
The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Mt. Zion was nipped by Hiram (Hiram, GA), 7-0, in a non-league game.
