The Crestwood Knights softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Northside Christian Academy Crusaders to 7 in the Knights non-league win on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Florence for a AAAA Region 5 battle on Monday, March 10. Crestwood will confront a Bruins team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Wilson Hall (Sumter, SC). The Bruins record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Northside Christian Academy moves to 1-1 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Wardlaw Academy (Johnston, SC) to confront the Patriots in a non-league battle on Monday, March 10. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Wardlaw Academy won 9-8 in their recent league battle against Richard Winn Academy (Winnsboro, SC)
