Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA), 12-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Episcopal upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Flames in a non-league game on Saturday, March 8. The Flames enter the game with a record of 0-0.

The Pelicans now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Parkview Baptist for a 3A District 6 game on Tuesday, March 11.
