North Carolina High School Softball - Willow Spring Holly Springs

The Willow Spring Storm softball squad (Fuquay-Varina, NC), was routed 11-4 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC)

With the triumph, Holly Springs improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Golden Hawks travel to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC) to face the Patriots in a Southwest Wake 4A contest on Monday, March 10. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 3-1. Apex Friendship won 6-2 in their recent non-league contest against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC)

The Storm now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Clayton for a Greater Neuse River 4A contest on Tuesday, March 11. Willow Spring will face a Comets squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Comets record now stands at 3-0.
