North Carolina High School Softball - Lincoln Charter bounces Metrolina Christian Academy

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Lincoln Charter Eagles softball team scored a tight 8-4 win over the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors.

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals come into the Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Corvian Community was routed by Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 19-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 10. Metrolina Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Buccaneers come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 12-11 non-league loss to Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC).
