The Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS) softball routed the host New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, MS), 10-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Hawks now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Union for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 6. Myrtle will encounter a Urchins team coming off a 8-5 non-league win over West Union (Myrtle, MS). The Urchins record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, New Albany moves to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Pine Grove (Ripley, MS) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league outing on Friday, March 14. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 4-5. Pine Grove won 8-4 in their recent non-league outing against Thrasher (Booneville, MS)
