The Abbott Panthers triumphed over the visiting Snook Bluejays baseball team by a count of 13-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Meridian for a non-league test on Friday, March 13. Abbott will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Dawson (Dawson, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Snook drops to 0-5 on the year. The Bluejays travel to Mumford (Mumford, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 2A Region IV District 26 test on Tuesday, March 17. The Mustangs enter the bout with a record of 3-4.
