The Daniel Lions baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Wren Hurricanes to 0 in the Lions non-league win on Friday.

The Lions now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hillcrest for a non-league test on Saturday, March 7. Daniel will play a Rams team coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC). The Rams record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Wren drops to 6-1 on the season. The Hurricanes host Palmetto (Williamston, SC) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 10. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 1-1. Palmetto lost 7-4 in their recent non-league outing against Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC)
