Texas High School Baseball - LEE defeats Edison

The LEE Volunteers (San Antonio, TX) baseball smashed the visiting Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX), 7-0 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Volunteers (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Clark (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars enter the 6A Region IV District 27 battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Clark was overwhelmed by Episcopal (Bellaire, TX), 12-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Golden Bears face the Burbank Bulldogs (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 battle, on Monday, March 9. Edison will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to LEE (San Antonio, TX).
