In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Liberty Patriots baseball team scored a close 12-6 triumph over the Monterey Plainsmen.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Burges Mustangs (El Paso, TX) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 7. Liberty will attempt to advance on its 11-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 21-2 non-league loss to Estacado (Lubbock, TX).
