Texas High School Softball - Irving knocked off by Pearce

The Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) softball routed the host Irving Tigers (Irving, TX), 16-2 in Thursday's league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richardson for a 6A Region I District 7 test on Monday, March 9. Pearce will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Berkner (Richardson, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-9.

The Tigers (1-15) will now prepare for their test against Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Vikings go into the 6A Region I District 7 test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Nimitz was routed by Terrell (Terrell, TX), 11-6, in a non-league test.
