The St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA) softball routed the visiting Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA), 23-8 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy for a non-league test on Monday, March 9. St. James will clash with a Swamp Owls squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA). The Swamp Owls record now stands at 3-2.
The Lions (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA). The Penguins go into the non-league test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Academy of Our Lady was routed by Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Westwego, LA), 6-0, in a non-league test.
