Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) boosters exited the stadium content Sunday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN), 10-3 in a league battle.
The Knights now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Evansville Central for a Freelance battle on Wednesday, March 10.
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Evansville North Huskies (Evansville, IN) in a Freelance battle, on Sunday, March 7. Homestead will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Huskies come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN).
