In Monday's non-league game, the host Celina Bobcats baseball team scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Denison Yellow Jackets.
The Bobcats (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Burleson (Burleson, TX). The Elks go into the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Burleson was overwhelmed by Richland (North Richland Hills, TX), 9-1, in a non-league game.
