South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rowdy Rebel Bulls confront the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 9. South Stanly will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.
The Wildcats now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lexington for a Central Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, March 9. South Davidson will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-2.
