Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Emerald Vikings (Greenwood, SC), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears confront the Seneca Bobcats (Seneca, SC) in a AAA Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, March 10. Belton-Honea Path will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Powdersville (Greenville, SC).
The Vikings now possess a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Brashier Middle College Charter for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 10. Emerald will confront a Bengal team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Palmetto (Williamston, SC). The Bengal record now stands at 2-2.
