In Monday's non-league battle, the host Sumter Fighting Gamecocks soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Lakewood Gators.
The Fighting Gamecocks (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against South Florence (Florence, SC). The Bruins come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, South Florence thwarted Darlington (Darlington, SC), 12-0, in a league battle.
The Gators (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Crestwood (Sumter, SC). The Knights come into the AAA Region 6 battle with a 0-0 record.
