Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Shaw Raiders (Columbus, GA), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots face the Harris County Tigers (Hamilton, GA) in a AAAAA Region 2 challenge, on Friday, March 11. Northside will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Newnan (Newnan, GA).

The Raiders now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Columbus for a AAAA Region 2 challenge on Wednesday, March 9. Shaw will face a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over St. Anne-Pacelli (Columbus, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-0.
