In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Holden Rockets softball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the Doyle Tigers.
Coming up next, the Rockets battle the Caldwell Parish Spartans (Columbia, LA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 12. Holden will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Springfield (Springfield, LA). The Bulldogs enter the 2A District 9 outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Springfield was routed by St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA), 17-12, in a non-league outing.
