North Carolina High School Softball - Manteo knocked off by Perquimans

March 7, 2022: Manteo, NC 27954

In Monday's non-league contest, the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC), by a margin of 15-4.

With the triumph, Perquimans moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Pirates host Camden County (Camden, NC) to play the Bruins in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 8. The Bruins come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Camden County won 15-0 in their recent non-league contest against Gates County (Gatesville, NC)

In their next game, the Redskins play the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes (Buxton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 8. Manteo will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Hurricanes come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC).
