Texas High School Baseball - Avery loses to McLeod

In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting McLeod Longhorns baseball team scored a nice 17-0 victory over the Avery Bulldogs.
The Longhorns (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Rebels go into the 2A Region III District 17 game with a 0-1 record.
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Maud (Maud, TX). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Maud was overwhelmed by Redwater (Redwater, TX), 11-0, in a non-league game.
