The Central Wildcats the host Dutchtown Griffins baseball team by a count of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Ascension for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 14.
The Griffins (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Northshore (Slidell, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Northshore by Hahnville (Boutte, LA), 6-5, in a non-league game.
