The North Surry Greyhounds baseball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Salisbury Hornets to 0 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds (2-0) will now prepare for their match against McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Phoenix go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, McMichael was overwhelmed by North Stokes (Danbury, NC), 7-3, in a non-league match.
The Hornets (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Surry Central was overwhelmed by Polk County (Columbus, NC), 10-6, in a non-league match.
