North Carolina High School Baseball - Pinecrest gets by Oak Grove

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) and the visiting Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC), saw Pinecrest's baseball squad beat Oak Grove by a margin of 16-14.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 9. Pinecrest will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record.

The Grizzlies now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host West Stokes for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 8. Oak Grove will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
