The Marion Local Flyers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots to 42 in the Flyers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Flyers now sport a 23-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crestview for a non-league contest on Friday, March 10. Marion Local will battle a Knights team coming off a 61-40 non-league win over Mohawk (Sycamore, OH). The Knights record now stands at 23-3.
With the defeat, Patrick Henry moves to 17-5 on the year.
