Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), 3-1 in a non-league game.

The Spartans now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon for a non-league game on Thursday, March 9. Villa Park will meet a Comanches team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA). The Comanches record now stands at 8-1.

The Vanguards (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Aztecs enter the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Esperanza dropped by Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
