In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Saranac Chiefs basketball team scored a good 45-34 triumph over the Gouverneur Wildcats.
In their next game, the Chiefs meet the Albany Academy for Girls Bears (Albany, NY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 11. Saranac will attempt to move on its 22-1 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 23-1 record after their 64-36 non-league win over Catskill (Catskill, NY).
With the defeat, Gouverneur moves to 21-2 on the year.
