In Tuesday's league battle, the Newsome Wolves (Lithia, FL) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Sickles Gryphons (Tampa, FL), by a count of 17-4.

Coming up next, the Wolves clash with the Tampa Catholic Crusaders (Tampa, FL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 9. Newsome will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Crusaders come into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL).

The Gryphons now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berkeley Prep for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 9. Sickles will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to Saint Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 5-2.
